Child Safety Standards
Downloader is an Android app developed and operated by Wambesha LLC, a New Mexico (USA) limited liability company (NM SOS ID 0008057749), 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA. We operate from Mombasa, Kenya, under the registered business name WABESHA TECH (BN-DBCPG73G), Anna House, Tononoka, Mombasa, Kenya. In this document "we", "us" and "our" mean Wambesha LLC.
These are our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation in the Downloader app. They apply to everything members write or show to others in the app: posts and replies in the community, collections, and the names and pictures on their profiles. In this document a child is anyone under 18.
1. Zero tolerance
We do not allow child sexual abuse material, or any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children. Nobody may use the app to contact a child for any of these purposes.
2. What is not allowed
- child sexual abuse material in any form, including drawn, edited or computer-generated images
- any sexualised image or description of a child
- grooming: building trust with a child in order to abuse or exploit them
- asking a child for sexual images, messages or contact, or sending a child sexual material
- threatening to share sexual images of a child, or using such images to pressure anyone
- sharing, asking for, advertising or linking to any of the above
3. Who can use the app
You must be at least 13 years old, and you confirm that you are at least 13 when you create an account. If the law of your country sets a higher age for agreeing to terms like these, you need the permission of a parent or guardian until you reach it. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to support@downloder.app and tell us which account.
4. How to report it
- In the app, if you are signed in: use Report on the post or reply.
- By e-mail, with or without an account: support@downloder.app. Tell us where you saw it, for example the member's name or the title of the post or collection. Do not attach or forward the material itself.
- If a reference shown for a title leads to such material, write to the same address and name the title.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency number first.
- You can also report child sexual abuse material directly to the CyberTipline of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the United States, or to the hotline in your own country.
5. What we do with a report
- A person on our team reviews every report.
- Content that breaks these standards is removed, and the member who posted it is banned from the community permanently. We may also suspend or close their account, as the Terms allow.
- A reference in the catalogue that leads to such material is removed from the app.
- Where the law requires us to report child sexual abuse material to the authorities, we do.
6. Contact
Our contact for child safety is support@downloder.app. Wambesha LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA.
7. Changes
We may change this document. The version in force is the one we publish, and each published version carries a version label.
8. Language
This document is written in English. Translations are provided for convenience. If a translation differs from the English text, the English text governs, unless the law of the country where you live says otherwise.
